By car is easy but parking in the city is difficult. Oxford has a good Park and Ride arrangement with five different car parks around the city with a low parking charge and cheap bus fare to take you into the city centre. Buses run with high frequency. Park and Ride car parks are located at Redbridge on A4144 for the south; Thornhill on the A40/40 for the east; Seacourt on A420 for the west and for the north at Pear Tree on the A3/A44 junction and at Water Eaton on A4260.
